We are Abiriba Women North America (ACIU) The Women Wing of Abiriba Communal Improvement Union.
Our sisterhood is strong & our message is to unify ourselves in one goals to strive & grow each other in the US and extend the love & support to our sisters, mothers and handicapped back home.
Our Vision, Mission, Objectives,
and Fundraising Goals
I. Vision Statement
We envision a sustainable and thriving Abiriba community where underserved women, children, and other marginalized groups have equitable access to training, essential resources, and compassionate care.
II. Mission Statement
To empower Abiriba women through skills development, self-care, and wellness initiatives while providing essential palliative support for marginalized elderly women, widows, individuals with disabilities, nursing mothers, and children in need.
III. Objectives and Fund-Raising Goals
The Abiriba Women's Fundraising Convention will focus on raising funds to build an Abiriba Women's Self-Care and Wellness Center in Abiriba, Nigeria. The Center is envisioned as a multifunctional space designed to empower the Abiriba community. It will function as a Business Center, offering a confectionary/snack shop, along with essential services such as photocopying, computer access, and other related services. Beyond business support, the Center will provide palliative care programs for vulnerable groups, including elderly women, widows, individuals with disabilities, and nursing mothers. The Center will also focus on educational support for children and self-care and wellness initiatives tailored for women, fostering holistic well-being and economic empowerment.
